Ways to help out
Bequests
With your help, the next generation of disadvantaged Sunshine Coast children don’t have to stay that way, they don’t have to be disadvantaged as they enter adulthood.
Leaving a gift in your will creates a wonderful legacy. It’s a way of investing in the future of our community. Your gift will assist disadvantaged children to get the education, healthcare and life opportunities that they deserve.
Leaving a living bequest is a unique opportunity to invest a part of your estate in the most disadvantaged children in our community AND have the joy of watching your gift in action.
There is no minimum amount required to leave SunnyKids a gift in your will OR to make a living bequest. Whilst larger gifts may be used for major projects – smaller gifts can be pooled together for a large impact.
Sponsor a child
The SunnyKids Local Child Sponsorship Program provides a platform for families, workplace giving, community groups and sporting teams as well as businesses to support a child on the Sunshine Coast for $50 per month.
As a sponsor you will receive:
- Regular SunnyKids Newsletter with stories about children who have been supported
- A tax-deductible receipt
- An invitation to subscribe to SunnyKids’ Facebook page
- A special invitation to our sponsor’s annual celebration
