This year we’re excited to announce that Grenfell Murray are proud sponsors of the Travis Schultz Winemakers Master Class backed by NAB Private Wealth for SunnyKids event. Grenfell Murray have been loyal supporters of SunnyKids for almost eight years.
The team at Grenfell Murray offer expert business advisory and accounting services and are wholly owned and operated by Sunshine Coast locals. The team of dedicated and passionate accountants/advisors (there are 26 in total) get excited at the prospect of number crunching and love nothing more than helping you get the best out of your financial situation.
Offering holistic financial support in foreign tax matters and specialist tax advice, superannuation guidance, financial management and proactive business advice suited to meet individual client needs.
Brendon Murray is a Partner at Grenfell Murray and a dedicated accountant with over 30 years’ experience in public practice. He’s also extremely passionate about ensuring locals doing it tough, get the support they need to thrive.
“Being a SunnyKids supporter means a lot to us at Grenfell Murray,” says Brendon. “We want to see all locals have access to the vital support they need. No one should have to suffer in silence or go without.”
With demand for SunnyKids’ services increasing year-on-year, we rely heavily on the support of our community to help raise adequate funds to ensure our vital services continue. We know that when children experience trauma, that the impacts are both immediate and lifelong. That’s why our SunnyKids in Schools programs play such a pivotal role in helping children who are facing adversity have a chance at a brighter future.
“It’s been a highlight seeing the incredible work SunnyKids are doing right here on the Coast,” says Brendon. “We’ve made a conscious effort to involve the whole Grenfell Murray team by encouraging them to get behind this brilliant cause.”
“Without a doubt, the SunnyKids village has enabled us to meet other like-minded people and get to know the incredibly generous people in our community. It’s wonderful being a part of something that’s having a huge impact on the lives of so many.”
Giving back to the local community that’s supported them for so many years seems to be at the very heart of Grenfell Murray’s ethos. Many of the socially conscious organisations that have supported us over the years have given life to many of the programs and services we actively deliver in the community today. Without this support and generosity, much of the work we do just wouldn’t happen.
“If we all sat back and watched on, nothing would change,” says Brendon. “Giving back is such an important part of being an active and involved member of our community.”
We’re extremely grateful for the support of Grenfell Murray at this year’s event. All funds raised will be going directly to our SunnyKids in Schools and Mentoring Through Sport programs. Offering children and their families the life-changing support and guidance they need to have the chance at a brighter future.
