Griffiths Parry Lawyers & Notary - Transitional Housing Supporters

Griffiths Parry Lawyers & Notary is a long-time supporter of SunnyKids and a proud contributor to the Transitional Housing Project, offering critical legal support to help bring the project to life. Their expertise ensured a smooth and favourable outcome for SunnyKids in securing the land and agreements necessary to begin building safe, stable homes for vulnerable families on the Sunshine Coast.

At the heart of this support is Sammy-Lee Brown, a bright and compassionate young solicitor who has taken the lead on the project within the firm. Sammy-Lee is committed to using her legal skills to make a real impact in the community as she establishes her practice locally. She has chosen SunnyKids as the cause she dedicates her time and effort to—driven by a desire to give back and support families facing crisis.

“We believe every family deserves the opportunity to heal and move forward with dignity and fairness,” says Director Rebecca Wilson. “When the opportunity came to support this project, it was a no-brainer. It’s a legacy project—something that will change lives for generations.”

Rebecca and the Griffiths Parry team have supported SunnyKids in many ways over the years—from educating the SunnyKids team about the legal system, to building bridges with other lawyers, to advocating for victims of domestic violence through court initiatives. Their belief in justice, fairness, and community connection sits at the core of everything they do.

Sammy-Lee’s involvement also highlights how SunnyKids’ business community is evolving.

“P100 in particular is an incredible way for local businesses to connect with likeminded peers,” Rebecca shares. “Networking can feel uncomfortable, but when you’re surrounded by people who genuinely want to do good—it changes everything. It gives purpose to the relationships you build.”

The firm’s culture of giving back runs deep. As they quietly celebrated their 51st anniversary, Griffiths Parry chose not to make a big splash—but instead continued focusing on the work that truly matters: supporting families, empowering the next generation of professionals, and strengthening the community they’ve proudly served for over five decades.
