Functional Air QLD has proudly supported the SunnyKids House project by donating and installing a fully supplied Haier ducted air conditioning system, ensuring comfort and climate control for the families who will soon call the house their home.
Based in North Brisbane, Functional Air QLD is a family-owned business specialising in the design, installation, repair and servicing of domestic and light commercial air conditioning systems. For Rhys, supporting the SunnyKids House project was a natural fit. “As parents ourselves, we strongly believe every child has the right to feel safe and loved,” he says. “This project gave us a way to help make that possible in a real and hands-on way.”
With the generous support of their major partner, Haier, Functional Air QLD’s contribution went beyond a simple installation. “Our team felt incredibly proud to be part of something that would genuinely change lives,” says Rhys. “It wasn’t just another job – it was a home being built for families starting over.”
