Caitlin McCartan – Helping Businesses Thrive with Virtual Support
Caitlin McCartan, Chief Operating Officer, leads a dynamic team that connects small and medium-sized businesses with highly skilled Virtual Assistants based in the Philippines. By providing trusted remote support, Caitlin and her team help local business owners free up time, focus on growth, and create more sustainable work-life balance.
For Caitlin, the most rewarding part of her role is empowering both her staff and her clients. Seeing people thrive – whether it’s business owners achieving more than they imagined possible or team members building fulfilling careers – is what drives her each day.
Caitlin’s journey with SunnyKids was inspired by a chance meeting with a long-standing employee, whose passion for the organisation sparked her own involvement. That passion quickly translated into action, with Caitlin and her business becoming strong supporters of SunnyKids’ mission to provide safety, stability, and hope for children and families.
At the heart of Caitlin’s business is a people-first approach. It’s not just about matching skillsets – it’s about building long-term, trusted relationships that deliver real impact for SME businesses and families. This ethos naturally aligns with SunnyKids’ focus on breaking the cycle of disadvantage for children.
Beyond their partnership with SunnyKids, Caitlin’s company actively supports local organisations through sponsorships, events, and encouraging staff to get involved in giving back. Looking ahead, Caitlin is leading the business into an exciting growth phase, expanding its reach across Australia and the US while continuing to build its offshore team.
Despite being fully remote, the business thrives on a vibrant culture filled with connection and fun. From virtual games to surprise celebrations, Caitlin ensures her team feels engaged and supported no matter where they are.
SunnyKids is proud to have Caitlin McCartan as part of our P100 Village – using her leadership and people-first values to help us build brighter futures for children and families on the Sunshine Coast
