Rowcon Waste Management, part of the Rowcon Group, is the Sunshine Coast’s largest privately-owned construction materials recycler, offering fully integrated waste management services. From skip and hook bin hire to the supply of premium recycled concrete products for civil construction, Rowcon delivers end-to-end solutions that lead the way in sustainable waste practices. Operating the only facility of its kind locally, they’re fuelling a thriving circular economy for the region.

When long-time client Devcon approached them about supporting the SunnyKids House project, Benn and his team didn’t hesitate. Already aware of the vital work SunnyKids does for vulnerable children and families, Rowcon was proud to get involved, contributing skip bin hire, waste management services, and civil construction materials including drainage aggregates, crusher dust, and roadbase products.

For Rowcon, community impact isn’t about recognition, it’s about doing what’s right. As a locally owned and operated business employing local people, they have strong connections to the community and regularly support charitable organisations and initiatives. Their focus is on helping vulnerable children, youth facing life-altering illnesses, and rural communities through partnerships such as with the Royal Flying Doctor Service.

The project holds personal significance for their Customer Service Superstar, Jacinta, who has been directly affected by domestic violence. While she hasn’t needed SunnyKids’ services herself, her experience has deepened the team’s appreciation for the organisation’s work in early intervention, creating safe environments, and helping break the cycle of violence.
