Dowell Windows - The SunnyKids House

Dowell Windows has proudly supported the SunnyKids House project by donating all the aluminium windows and doors for the build, an essential contribution that ensures each home is safe, secure, and built to last.

As one of Australia’s leading suppliers of aluminium windows and doors, Dowell has long been part of the fabric of the building industry, working closely with builders and developers nationwide. Their Sunshine Coast team, led by Account Manager Andrew Greenstreet, was eager to be involved in a project that gives back to the local community in such a tangible way. “It’s a great cause,” Andrew shared. “We’re excited to be able to give a little bit back to the local Sunshine Coast community.”

Collaboration is one of Dowell’s core values – something reflected in both their internal culture and their long-standing partnerships with builders such as Devcon, who are also key contributors to this project. The team was thrilled to play a part in building a space that will bring safety and stability to families in need.

With many of their employees having young families of their own, the project holds special meaning. “Supporting and having this type of resource in the community is really important,” Andrew said.

When asked what advice he’d share with other businesses thinking about getting involved, Andrew’s answer was simple: “Everything is so busy these days, with a focus on profits, it just feels good to give back and be involved in something positive for the community.”
